Cold Brew Iced Coffee at Home

Serves: ½ gallon
  • 50 grams of coffee beans
  • ½ gallon filtered water
  • French Press (or other coffee strainer)
  • ½ gallon ball jar (or other sizable container)
  1. Grind coffee beans on your coarsest setting (sometimes called “French Press”). Transfer to ball jar and fill with filtered water.
  2. Cover and place in the fridge overnight.
  3. In the morning, strain in batches with your French Press. Any left over cold brew can be stored covered in the fridge for up to a week.
Amounts will vary depending on what beans you’re using, so go ahead and experiment with different coffee weights, water volumes and steeping times!
