For some reason, people have gotten it into their heads that quinoa is difficult to cook. Well, it’s not. Follow these simple steps to make quinoa that is FLUFFY and PERFECT every time.
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups water
- a pinch of salt
- Place quinoa, water and salt in a small saucepan and turn the heat up to high.
- When the water comes to a boil, cover and turn the heat down to low.
- Simmer covered for TEN MINUTES.
- After ten minutes, uncover and you’re done! Your quinoa should be fluffy and beautiful, just like you. If there’s still a little bit of water left, just keep the pot over low heat and keep stirring for a few minutes while that extra liquid evaporates.
